The other day I found this awesome monster party by Gabriel’s Good Tidings featuring our Monster Party Kit by Babystar Design
This monster party was for a little boy turning five, what a fun theme! The family had the party at a local park. The mom turned it all into a fantastic monster home!
She let her son pick the monster theme. She set out to find lots of bright colors, googly eyes silly faces and fun textures. I love the polka dotted cupcake wrappers here, don’t you?
Here is a nice picture of her food table. LOVE the green monster on top of the cupcake stand. She mentioned she found it at a local consignment shop for only $1.00! WOW, that’s the kind of party decorations i’m taking about. The monster eye banners really make the scene too I think!
Here is an up close shot of the cupcakes. The bright icing really match the polka dots very well, and the monster eyes make the cupcakes complete.
Here is some party snacks. I like the ideas that they served fruit. It’s always good to mix in a little bit of a healthy treat when you have all the sweets from the cupcakes. For a table runner, she just used wrapping paper she found at Target.
Okay, these tissue box monsters are as cute as can be! I’ll let you read how she made them over at Gabriel’s Good Tidings. It looks really creative and again the colors match up really well.
Here are the coloring pages that came with the monster party kit Coloring pages are always a good addition to a party. It gives the kids a little busy time. That way you can use this time to prepare for the next game or food preparation. And the kids have something to take home with them as well.
She even decorated the cups with googly eyes. FUN!
This was one of my favorite things I saw from the party. They did a fun photo booth and had props to go along with it. Don’t you love the monster fur frame! I’ll let you check out more details from her post.
